Lower Elementary | Grades 1–2

Children build confidence in reading, writing and mathematics. Montessori materials help them understand new concepts through hands-on experiences.

They gradually learn to concentrate, organise their work, collaborate and explore the world through Cosmic Education.

Upper Elementary | Grades 3–5

Children deepen their knowledge, develop research skills and discover connections between subjects.

Interdisciplinary projects, experimentation, collaboration and presentations play an important role in their learning. They gradually prepare for the next stage of their education at DIDASKO.

Every morning, children work within an extended learning block that includes Czech language, mathematics, English and project-based learning taught in English (CLIL).

Enrolment for Grade 1 – how it works

Enrolment for Grade 1 takes place on 15 January 2026.

We don’t hold formal entrance exams.
Each child is invited to a short individual meeting and classroom visit.

The goal is simple — we want to understand how the child learns, communicates and responds to the environment.
At the same time, parents can see how we work and decide whether our approach fits their expectations.

Admission is a mutual decision: the child should benefit from being part of our school, and the school should be the right environment for the child to grow.

This professional and respectful process helps us make sure that every child who joins our community can truly succeed here.

Yes. We are an officially registered Czech school offering education from Grades 1 to 9, following a school educational programme aligned with the Czech national curriculum.

2. Do children learn the same academic content as in traditional Czech schools?

Yes. We meet the requirements of the Czech national curriculum and enrich our programme with Montessori education, English and interdisciplinary projects.

3. How is English integrated into the school day?

English is part of our daily morning learning block, which includes Czech language, mathematics, English and project-based learning in English (CLIL). Children use English every day, not only during language lessons, but also while exploring other subjects and communicating with their teachers.

4. Does my child need previous Montessori experience?

No. We also welcome children from other preschools and elementary schools.

5. How do you monitor children’s progress?

Our teachers continuously monitor children’s knowledge, skills and individual development and provide regular feedback.

6. Can children continue to Lower Secondary?

Yes. Our Elementary programme continues into DIDASKO, our Lower Secondary programme for Grades 6–9.

7. Can children transfer during the school year?

Yes, depending on available places and following an introductory meeting.
