Toddlers

Montessori Nursery for Children Aged 1.5 to 3.5 Years in Central Olomouc

Toddler Explorers: Nurturing Early Development

At our school, we understand the unique needs and immense growth that occurs from ages 1.5 to 3 years. Our “Toddler Explorers” class is specially designed to cater to our youngest learners, featuring a low teacher-to-child ratio that ensures personalized attention and nurturing care. In this environment, toddlers engage in activities that stimulate their curiosity, enhance their sensory skills, and foster early language development, including their introduction to English and Czech. Our dedicated teachers, skilled in early childhood education, create a warm and safe atmosphere that encourages these young minds to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace, laying a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

/01

A specially designed classroom for children aged 1.5 to 3 years

Our toddler class is one of a kind in Olomouc — fully tailored to the needs of the youngest children. Between the ages of 1.5 and 3, a child’s brain is most open to learning, and the AMI Montessori approach allows them to naturally develop fine motor skills, language, independence, and social abilities in an environment that nurtures their natural growth.

Gradual adjustment to preschool – a special adaptation week

We understand that starting preschool is a big step for both children and parents. That’s why we emphasize a gradual and gentle adjustment process. We offer an adaptation week during which the child slowly gets acquainted with the environment, teachers, and new friends, making the transition to the regular preschool routine smooth and comfortable.

/03

Flexible attendance with the option of gradual increase

Every child and family has different needs, which is why we offer flexible attendance options — 2, 3, or 5 days per week. Parents can start with fewer days and gradually increase attendance based on the child’s needs and readiness. This approach minimizes stress and helps the child transition smoothly into a regular preschool routine.

/04

Small class size – a maximum of 15 children and 3 adults

In our toddler class, we have only 15 children per group, ensuring individual attention for each child. The group is led by three adults – a Czech Montessori guide, an English-speaking guide, and a teaching assistant. This ratio allows for close support, respect for each child’s needs, and the creation of a safe and nurturing environment.

/05

Bilingual Czech-English environment from an early age

With a native speaker present, children naturally become familiar with English through everyday situations. The bilingual environment allows them to absorb the language intuitively, providing an ideal foundation for future learning and language development.

/06

Education following the highest Montessori standards (AMI)

Our school follows the methodology of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI), ensuring the highest quality of education. Children have access to a carefully prepared Montessori environment with authentic materials that support their natural development and independence.

Qualified Team of Guides

Our experienced educators are passionate about children and hold top-tier AMI Montessori certifications, with years of expertise in Montessori education.
